The American "Fearmobile"
You know, the past several years have really taken its toll on the American public. There doesn't seem to be trust in anyone or anything anymore. Our developing lack of trust is somewhat akin to a soapbox derby. We were at the top of the hill when the race started, but as we progressed our wheels started coming off. Not completely, but they are really wobbling. So thus, we are now riding the "fearmobile". Seeminly, every facet of our every day life is now being affected. Just who or what do we trust? Put this phrase, "Do I trust", before each of the following: my government, my employer, my bank, my investment broker, my family, my spouse, my neighbor, me, etc. I truly hope you can say "YES" to all of the previous. So, then, why question an event in which the President of these United States wants to encourage and stress the importance of working hard to complete an education to the students in our schools? Fear? Fear of what? What he is doing is what is NOT being done in our government, our work places, our financial institutions, our families, our neighborhoods, our personal lives, etc. Woe be the society which does not strive to be the best it can be.
